A friend told me about Horning's, 18 years ago. Since that time we have ordered more furniture than I can remember. To mention a few dining room table, chairs, bed*, dresser* (*he now defers this work to his son), end tables... Alvin Horning is a wonderful, honest person. You can't buy furniture of this quality no matter what the price. Prices are less than the "quality" furniture stores. All items are be custom made. As an example he made a 3'x5' quarter sawn oak dinning room table with 13 leaves. We ordered 12, 12" leaves and Alvin supplied the last which he cut down to 11 1/2"so it would fit. Fully opened the table measures a 1/2" under 18'.
